CHANDLER, Ariz. – It’s an honor reserved for 40 of the aviation industry’s biggest movers and shakers, and AvAir’s own Mike Bianco is among those making the cut.

Airline Economics recently announced its “40 Under 40” list for 2018, recognizing the top names in the commercial aviation industry who have yet to reach 40 years of age. Bianco, who holds the presidential role at the Arizona-based aftermarket aviation parts provider’s headquarters, helped AvAir become an undeniable industry powerhouse that caters to a global client roster and stocks more than 26 million aircraft parts at any given time.

“It’s a tremendous honor to appear on this list alongside top colleagues in the industry,” said Bianco, who signed on as AvAir’s first official employee in 2000 before working his way to the company’s top spot. “It’s my hope that this will lead to even more worldwide exposure for AvAir in the months and years to come.”

The annual list released by one of the industry’s preeminent authorities includes a peer-nominated selection of the nation’s aviation industry elite, recognizing the next generation of standouts.
